One of my very favorite contraptions that I own is NOT my Roomba (never worked that great), it is my iRobot Braava Jet Robot Mop! They can be purchased at Best Buy for $169.99. I am by no means a great house keeper and this little gadget helps me control my greatest enemy – PET HAIR! I keep the battery plugged in when I’m not using it so it is always ready to go. There are three types of mopping pads: wet, damp and dry. They can be bought at Best Buy or Wal-Mart for around $8 – $9 for a box of 10.
If you’ve seen my post from my Bedroom Corner, then you might have noticed several of these boxes piled up. Once Upon a Book Club is my newest obsession. It is a monthly book club subscription with a twist. Along with a great book (I’ve gotten 5 boxes so far and loved 4 of the books, the one I didn’t love was still a great book…just not one I would have picked – not really a genre I enjoy) you get around 4 gifts that correspond to things that happen in the book! They are wrapped or boxed beautifully and there are sticky notes on the book pages that tell you when it is time to open a gift. The boxes cost $35 per month and you can pick from Adult or Young Adult boxes. Most of the books I’ve received so far are hard back editions and the gifts are a fun way to read a book. Not all of the gifts are useful but some have been really nice and others are just fun. I have kept the boxes and the books thinking that if someone would like to borrow a book, it would be fun for them to see the gifts as well but the boxes started piling up so I broke them down and kept the gifts I liked and threw away the things that would never bring me joy (;p Marie Kondo).
